December 3, 2008

The Company formerly known as Infon, the leading MVAs player in Russia, recently announced that it is moving forward to change its B2B, B2G and Corporate brand to Zed.

While the D2C business will remain branded as Infon, the Company’s product portfolio will increase with access to global agreements, like NBA’s or Lionsgate’s, and enjoy all resources and intellectual property of Zed Group.

After almost two years being part of Zed Group, and fully integrated under the global strategy, Infon is now ready to move forward and communicate its B2B and B2G offer, through Zed, the global leading MVAs brand. This change will not affect current relationships and business other than benefitting from Zed’s full range of products and services:

The Director-General Zed Russia Kirill Shramko explained: «Zed is the recognized leader in MVAS industry. We are pleased to officially announce this step forward, with the efforts to meet the demand of our partners to implement innovative and unique products for the Russian market for mobile content ».

Among many other things, Zed’s Russian operation will benefit from accessing the full catalogue of the in-house development Company Zed Games, embracing state of the art games in the full array of available technologies (Java, Symbian, Flash and Brew), or the exclusive agreements with Global and unique brands such as NBA, Metacafe or Lionsgate. Collaboration throughout Zed’s staff from more than 22 offices around the world will also provide synergies in technology, marketing and R&D.

Diego Conforti, Zed’s Global Sales director mentioned: «Since Infon’s integration in our group, in early 2007, we have shared many success stories. We have together provided new and many valued services to our partners, and this rebranding will also help to continue this line of work”.
